Wente Twentieth Anniversary Red Wine

カリフォルニア州サンフランシスコの東、Livermore Valley にあるゴルフ場併設のワイナリー Wente Vineyards。カリフォルニアのゴールドラッシュ時代にドイツから移住してきた C. H. Wente 氏により1883年ワイナリー創業。禁酒法時代もミサ用のワインとして生産を許可され、「アメリカ最古の途切れることのない家族経営ワイナリー」と称され、5世代に渡り120年間以上ワイン造りに従事している。

今回のワインは Wente Vineyards にあるレストランの20周年記念ワイン。ラベルには "Wente Vineyards 20 Years of Culinary Excellence 1986 - 2006" とある。Cabernet Sauvignon、Syrah、Sangiovese をブレンドした赤ワイン。濃いワインの色が美しく、深いタンニンで美味しい。
